While returning to Muzaffarpur from Madhubani after Karyakarta Samvad program, Leader of Opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav reached Deura Bandhauli village of Jaale block on Sunday and met the victim of the case of forcibly releasing the accused arrested in the case of bogus voting in the last Lok Sabha elections from Jaale police station and inquired about the actual situation. Jaale 1/1 District Councilor representative and the relative of the victim gave him all the information related to the incident and told that he has been implicated in the case as part of political reasons.
FIR was filed against the people
In this case, FIR was registered against all the prominent people of the minority community of the area. People lived in fear for three entire months. Out of fear of the police, people of the minority community not only in this village but also in many villages of the area lived in hiding. Tejashwi Yadav went inside the house of the victim and interrogated Sadia Sheikh, daughter of Hasnain Sheikh and Zeenat Praveen, daughter of Izhar who were arrested in the incident, and collected detailed information. Tejashwi Yadav said that the police has become government-sponsored. The police has become politicized. He said that the victim should get justice in this case.
